SATARIEL have set "White Ink" as the title of their new full-length album. The CD, which will will likely feature ten new songs, "will continue in the sound of 'Chifra', which was released earlier this year, but probably will have a little more aggressivity and 'evil' added to it this time, as the lyrics pretty much demand that this time around,"
as replacement for Mikael, Simon is no stranger as he did some fabulous guest guitar-solos on Satariels previous full length album Hydra, released in 2005.
He has since remained a friend, and when Mikael decided to leave, Simon was the first pick to fill his spot.
Simon Johansson is best known to most of you from his other bands MEMORY GARDEN and STEEL ATTACK in which he still also plays.
He also played in ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA together with Leif Edling.
Satariel are very happy to add Simon to a already strong band. On the next album it is very likely that we will hear a few songs written by Simon, along those of Magnus and Pär, who thus far have composed the main part of Satariels songs.

Finally! The "Chifra" Mini CD has been recorded, mixed and mastered. Artwork and layout has also been finished. "Chifra" was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand and Magnus Alakangas at Dug-Out Studios. All artwork and layout by Pär Johansson.
The Minicd will also contain a video to the song "Hogtied Angel"!
As soon as the video has been finished, a release date will be revealed.

We've got a gig coming up in Umeċ on the 20th of may. It will be our first open-air gig, it turns out.
the place is DÖbelns park, 23.00. Other bands playing are spinning black circle, my own grave among others.

SATARIEL soon done with mixing and mastering of new mini-cd
Satariel has now almost completed the recording of their new mini-cd, which will be released in short during spring by Pulverised Records in Europe and Asia (US-licens release to be revealed later).
Once again the band has used Daniel Bergstrand and Dug-Out Studios (known from recordings with In Flames, Messhuggah, Strapping Young Lad etc.) for parts of the production.
At this moment the title of this release seems to be Chifra.
The recording of the mcd is underway. The drums are done and mike and magnus will start recording guitar tracks now.
This will turn out pretty fucking good, we think!
we have signed for 'Pulverized Records' to release a mcd containing 4 brand new tracks! recordnings will begin feb 16th.
But observe we are still signed to Cold Records for which the upcoming fullength album will be recorded later this year. The deal with Pulverised is ONLY for this mini-cd.
now as we tear our hair and still are searching the ruins of the old site we are happy to announce that we have signed a deal with Cold/Regain Records!
